I have a VERY aggressive RIR chick. He is a little moster, jumping and kicking at his coop mates AND me. I figure if I keep picking him up and messing with him every day he'll settle a littel bit but does anyone have suggestions on how to teach him I am queen of the roost? Eating him is NOT an option. He's only about 4 weeks old now so not even sure it's a he.
Is it possible to clip his spurs when he get older?

I'm not sure the extra love will help. For my aggressive roosters, extra handling just made them vow revenge on my children. No matter how gently I carried them around or how many treats I gave them, it was still spurs in the chest for my little ones.

Sigh. I found them new homes. Now I'm growing up a new cockerel, and so far so good.......
