how do I tell if its a roo?

At what age can you tell? what are the signs? I have 6 reds and six brahmas I think 1 of the white ones is a roo

The hens when their laying have pink to light red combs.

The roos at 6mts crow lightly.

I knew by 2 months by the combs and two of them started to crow at 2 months. That was my cornish rock and my buff orpington roo. My two rhode island reds haven't started crowing yet, that I know of. But the roos combs normally grow a lot faster than the hens and the feet are bigger i guess.
