How do I tell if my hens are thin??

Where do you get the Ivomec? At what age do you begin worming them?

You can get it at TSC, and stores like it. It is for cattle. I typically don't start worming them till they are at least 3 months old or so, except for special cases where I have to.

Just a little suggestion when worming. I find that it's easier to put the 4 or 5 drops of wormer on a little piece of bread and feed to each hen individually. They gobble it right up! No muss, no fuss!

That's a darn good idea, never thought to do that! Thanks for the tip, but how do you get the right ones to eat it? lol
