Recently we introduced a rooster into the pen with all the hens we have. Beings how I am new to this chicken thing, I was wondering if there's a way to tell when the rooster bred with a hen? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you seen him breed the hens?

If you crack the eggs open, you can see the blastoderm (Maybe Blastodisc, can't remember which one it is) on the yolk. It's a clearish bullseye shaped circle. If it has multiple rings it is fertilized.
