How do I turn an egg if I'm going to a wedding for 1-2 nights/days

Hello and Welcome to BYC! If you can't get an automatic egg turner, X2 the eggs will probably be fine not turning for a day or two, I've had ones not turned ones for a couple of days before and they hatched out fine.

I candled my last batch of eggs at 4 days. I was able to see veining in the white eggs (if I looked really close with a magnifying glass), but the colored eggs it was impossible to be certain which had veining and which didn't. I would say to candle between 7-10 days. That is when I can see what's inside the egg best and you can be certain at that phase which are growing and which are not.
