I have just bought Flubenvet to deworm me chickens but don't really understand how much i should give them.
It say's to treat for 7 days and to mix at 6g of flubenvet to 2kg of feed, what i need to know is how much do i mix to treat 6 birds per day?
Help will be appreciated.
Edited to add; can i mix the required daily dose to their morning warm oats i give them? or is it better to mix 7 days worth and give them a set amount of the medicated feed each day? and what do i do if they don't finish their daily allowance?
They normally have access to their feed in the coop 24/7.

I normally dump the whole tub of wormer into a full bag of feed and mix thoroughly then just feed exclusively until it's done. Easy peasy.

Will it not be too diluted like that?, it takes my lot over a month to get through a whole bag of feed. The tub of flubenvet say's to do it evenly over 7 days.

OK so a quarter of a bag is 5kg (assuming you buy 20kg bags) and if the instructions say to use a 6g scoop per 2kg then you need 2.5 scoops mixed into the weeks worth of food.

Thank you highlander, will do quarter of the bag
