How do I introduce them? I am planning on adding them in today or tomorrow, I just want some tips to make sure they dont get bullied too hard.
Yes I have:
2 treadle feeders (open so the new chickens know where to get food)
3 waterers
And yes those feeders and waterers are all behind hides and everything
A couple days ago I added them into the main flock but one of them immediately decided it was a good idea to peck my roosters wattle, of course my rooster Koa got mad and flared his neck feathers and I grabbed the new chicken just in time before Koa had the time to beat the new chicken. I then moved the new chickens out. Im worried the new chickens are going to do something dumb like agitate the rooster then get beaten up or worse, even killed.
Any tips for introduction? Thanks!
