Similar thing, pretty much, with a commercial layer such as the ISA Brown. Unless you have access to the parent stock (which we don't) you can not make your own. You can make a generic Red Sex Link, but the ISA is a patented blood lines from which (number 3914)* red males are used to breed (3492)* white females. That sort of thing.
