how do you bring the humidity down in your incubator(little giant)

after i put the eggs in the humidity has gone up to 69 percent..not sure how to bring it down..i took out the red plugs on top..but its still high

How much water is in it? I only fill the middle chambers until lock down. Give it a few hours, it does take awhile to regulate.

Depending on your air humidity, you might need to remove all the water until lock down. The directions on the LG for putting water in the channels are not correct for most places.

i filled them all..first time hatching ..i will take some water out and keep my eye on it..thanks for your reply

I’ve had to add a couple pieces of sponges during lockdown to bring the humidity up but once they start hatching it will go up from that.
I use a large syringe with tubing added to it and I add water through the holes on top using that. Probably not necessary but regulating a LG is a fine art lol. Plus I had the supplies on hand at work!
