How do you candle eggs?

I plan to hatch eventually how do you candle eggs (I have extremely thick shells)?

There are quite a few ways, all which involve a light (usually a flashlight) and a small source of light that it shines through and at the egg directly. You can even just cut a hole in some construction paper and put it between the egg and flashlight, but the easiest for me is to simply hold your fist around the light, and put the egg on top so no light escapes, and goes directly to the egg. Of course, clean hands are required in this.
