How do you clean out a run?

Hi everyone!
I was wondering if any of you could help... I have just purchased an Omlet Egloo go up chicken coop with a big 3m run. I was wondering how I am suppost to clean the run out without it getting all muddy/wet if I hose it down? What do you guys do with your runs?
Any replies are really appreciated.

I just rake mine with long handle rake and kitty litter scoop manure. I have sand.

It depends on what you use for run litter. As @Melky posted, you can use sand and scoop it every day or so. Or you can use wood chips and just mix it up daily so the poop composts with the wood chips. Add more chips as they compost and/or remove compost if it is getting deep.

I would never hose out a run (unless maybe it had a concrete floor), adding all that water is pretty much the opposite of what you want in a run.

Atm they are just on grass because they just moved in.... but wood chips it is!! That’s absolutely perfect. Thanks for your help. I will buy some tomorrow.
