A couple of my chickens keep on jumping the fence and I was wondering if a mature hen can be dewinged. If so, how is it done?

OMG you mean clip it's wing, right??? Right?? I think you just extend the wing and trim just the tips of the first two "flight" feathers off. Some chickens still fly even with clipped wings. I can't imagine you were talking about taking the wing off, right?

Here's some info

Good luck, it is suggested just clipping one side to keep them off balance. And some people have reported that their chickens still can get over a fence. Yikes!
Are they young? I find older heavier birds give up on the flying thing.

OK. I though dewinging was clipping the feathers. Yeah, I just want to clip feathers.
