Anyone who has buff orpingtons how are there personalities?? I'm really excited I'm going to pick up a 10 week old begining of next week for my son. I heard there really docile birds.

I'm sure there are always exceptions but generally Orpngtons are very mellow.

Mine have no personality--they have absolutely no desire to associate with humans other than eat the food provided. Brahmas have tons of personality, but are very gentle. Rocks have lots of personality, too, but I wouldn't call them gentle.

I think it probably varies by strain. I've noticed certain idiosyncrasies in certain of my Orp strains.
