We put out five six week old chicks into a locked coop but they slept in the wet grass instead of the home. We put them all in and they just run back out. There is no door inside. Thanks

Carry them into the coop after dark. They can't see in the dark to run back out. After they get used to sleeping in the coop, it will become a habit. If you still can't get them to to in on their own, try offering treats in the coop at sunset to encourage them.
