How do you get ready for winter in warmer weathered areas

I have owned my flock for around a year but they haven't experienced winter yet but I live in Florida where it doesn't get freezing the lowest it gets is around 43 fahrenheit so not that cold is a heat lamp enough? Do they need other things? What are you guy's plans for winter?

At those temps you likely don't need to do a thing.

Supplemental heat isn't recommended until around -10, -20F or so, so you're well clear of that.

The temperature is around usually around 50° or 60° but the lowest it gets is around 43° ( I can't get pictures of my coop or run right now but I will try to later in the day)

Absolutely don't add a lamp. I get to negative 20 and 30 a lot here and I rarely add one.

I did I was just making sure because I have seen a lot of my niehhbors set up heat lamps for their hens
