How Do You Get Rid of an Earworm???

I woke up this morning with an ABBA song stuck in my head, and I can't seem to get rid of it -

I wouldn't mind so much but...ABBA ??


Oh.. it must have had to do with the marathon of "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" that was on t.v. the other day.

Any suggestions?

Try and play a favourite song over and over to remove the earworm.
I had one for 3 days last month, it nearly sent me bonkers!!

It could be worse....Thanks to my 5 year old I have a Wiggles song stuck in my head. It's so bad It even wakes me up in the middle of the night!

Is quite an ABBA overload But it's only fgunny to me because the lead character looks like a "friend" of mine so I give him a great deal of flack about it.
