How do you get your chicks to follow you? =/

So I had my little chicks on the sofa and left the room for a min to come back hearing them screaming and standing on the very edge of the sofa. when I sat down they all mobbed me! now they are staying closer to me when a min ago they were content doing there own thing. As I speak jack (my suspected roo) is sitting on my shoulder! It's funny that they do things that make it seem like they're imprinted but then do other things that make it seem like they aren't :/ they crack me up

your chicks sound soooooo cute. Mine are approx. 5 wks now. I think it's safe to say they know you're mom! I'm sure they'll be following you soon.

My hens still do that when they find worms or other bugs in the yard, the others end up taking it, its really funny to watch.

So true. Mine caught a moth the other night. Seeing them jump up to catch it was hilarious!

Now that it's warmer I've been taking my little flock out in the yard. I just sit in the grass watching them wander. Yesterday they were all busy exploring until a car alarm went off. Next thing I know I have all 7 of them trying to climb under me or in my lap. It was the funniest thing.
