how do YOU hang a brooder lamp in your outdoor coop??

Chicks are outside! Well, most of them. I want to have a heat lamp for them still. So how do you hang yours?

I cannot post pics, but my coop is 8 x 12 and pretty much basic. I have two large branches for roosts and the at the moment. I don't even have nestboxes yet. Can't figure out how to hang the light...

Suggestions please?

P.s. I'm running out of daylight and glee is on in 45 min....

mine hangs by a chain with a link slipped over a screw in a roof truss.

I loop a metal chain over a board above and use c-links to connect it to another link in the chain. That way it's secure and adjustable.

I use a large screw-in hook in a rafter with a chain or wire to hang the light, the hooks work good for feeders to.

It's looped over a rafter and secured 3 ways, to the bail, to the lamp itself, and to the cord. The cord is also looped so it can't drop but a little.

Or it was. It's put away now.
