Keep on working it. Below is a picture, not the best and I did not wrap high enough, because he managed later to get his wings out.

That's part of the problem I was having with the vetrap and why I had to go to the tape. The feathers were just too slick to keep them in it. Tried the really good vetrap too with the same result.
