How Do You House Your Seramas?

The sand ended up not working in the house... too heavy for the coop trays, plus you have to wash the sand over and over to get the "dirt" off, otherwise it ends up in the house. The sand was too course also, ended up messing up areas of my floor that it landed on.

But! I will be doing sand once i am moved and have my outdoor and run.

The day I switched from shavings under the roosts to the sand/PDZ combo was the best day ever! Made clean up so much easier.
Takes me literally 15 minutes a day to clean both my coops including spot cleaning out in the runs.

I agree! I think it takes me 3 mins flat for the indoor coop.. people have actually said im lying about that but it really is so fast. Im not a deep litter type of gal.. poop be gone!
