How do you keep a collar on?

I would agree with making the collar less attractive to your other dogs...I hate collars that are too tight...My GSP's collars are loose enought that they can be slipped over the dogs head without releasing the buckle...I would hate to think that one of them would get hung-up somewhere while hunting and suffocate because they couldn't get away from their collar. Also hunting dogs are frequently stolen while they are in the field...Most of the time a person trying to catch a dog grabs it by the collar...Reason number 2 for a loose collar. And then you have the dog getting into a fight with another dog/predator and being injured because it is being held by its collar... JMO I'd rather lose a collar than a dog.
