How do you keep the ants away?

Unfortunately, the ants have discovered that a chicken coop is a good source of food. How do you keep the ants away without using chemicals harmful to chickens?

I have noticed that Poultry Protector kills ants. Also vinegar is good to keep ants away.

you can sprinkle diatomaceous earth into all parts of the coop it won't hurt the chickens and it will kill any bug or insect that come in contact with it and you can also dust the chickens with it for control of mites etc. good good stuff and it is also a good wormer

Borax. Its perfectly safe for animals and kills many different bugs. Don't spill a lot of it on the ground though, it will blight the earth because it becomes a salt.

I spray bleach around the coop every 6 months or so. I think it works!
