I have two ducklings that are about two to three weeks old. One is a Peki so of course he is growing alot faster. At this point they are in the middle stage of having fuzz and growing feathers. He is in the part of his wings getting large and growing the shafts that contain the feathers, if you know what I mean. One the one side you can see them and they are facing up towards his back, not out at all. They lay against his back while the other side you can't see at all until you look. That is why I didn't even know he had some on this wing till I looked.

I have heard people say that they will and can raise up when they are first growing until they get some wait on them to pull them down again. But I have also seen and heard of angel wing and just wanted to hear your opinion.

Might be a little early for that I think. Angel wing will show at week 7 or 8 if your ducks indeed have them and usually it will be the left wing. Just make sure you don't feed them high protein diet after 5 weeks and you should be fine, i mean your ducks

I agree with kingpincray, it's a little early for angel wing. Here's a picture of a Pekin with angel wing though, just for you to compare with yours.

My ducklings are about four weeks old, i am really just ahead of you in the development stage- I wanted to share with you that for about two weeks I worried about angel wing too, because one of my fast-growing ducklings had the fuzz part of her wings sticking straight up also. I only noticed it on her, and I was very worried it was going to be angel wing. Once her feathers on her wings came in better, nothing sticks up any longer (I noticed that last night). So, I believe it is just because their feathers are coming in so fast, it makes their wings look goofy.

I didnt know you didnt see angel wing until 7-8 weeks, thank you smart people. I could have saved myself some worry if I would have asked.
