How do you pass the time?

Ok so I decided to go and make sure all was still well before going to sleep.. and what did I see but an empty shell!! I could hear her peeping under mom. I feel so proud you would have thought I had hatched it myself. I have a new baby chick. I will post pictures tomorrow evening.. work tomorrow and it is rainy and icky tonight. I am so excited I don't know how I will sleep.

Think I will call her Maryann after my friend who has a birthday today!

yep doing a name change for a girl she is still Maryann but the boy will be the Professor!

I took my nephew to the zoo. The benefits of this are two-fold:
1. 4 hours at the zoo
2. 4 hours at zoo with 5yr old generally necessitates an immediate 4 hour nap (for both of us)
Bingo 8 hours gone just like that!
