How do you post a BYC link?

I want to add a link to a thread but cant figure it out. I can do it with links to pics so what am I doing wrong? Hmmmm

Hi EC, I know how to use cut and paste but what do I actually cut and paste? What part of the thread? The name of the thread or what? I cant figure it out. I need simple directions on what to do. lol
