How do you pronounce Campine?

Sorry to burst a cheery thought, but since when did workers who take orders at hatcheries become chicken experts? Their workers can't even get their breeds "pure."

I also read somewhere on internet that that was how to pronounce it. I did a quick search and couldn't find it.

I would take a stab at it and pronounce it cam-pine, with the slight emphasis on the second syllable. But somehow cam-peen makes sense to me too.

See? I'm not crazy! LOL.

LOL..

Technically I think it is "Kempen" but I say "Campin"

That's like Antwerp is " Ant wer pen " (The a is pronounced like the A in all)

LOL! WHen I was a kid, I learned and correctly understood many words in written language that were not in language I had heard spoken. I can remember arguing with, I think my bother, about the pronunciation of "deny" I was convinced it should be pronounced "denny." And I was in my mid thirties or forties when I first heard archipelago pronouned. Naturally, I had been pronouncing it differently for decades.
