How do you pronounce Mille Fleur?

I just noticed you are from Ohio. Don't you guys have your own special accent there?

Where I am you get a lot of migrant workers that work the produce fields plus we have some Amish and you can throw some good old redneck slang in there so we get a lot of different accents around here.

Every town in Ohio has it's own accent.
Around here for example,
"When you run to the store, I'm coming with," or "Where'd you guys eat dinner at?" Soft drink of any kind is "pop." A trickle of water running through the woods is a "crick" not a "creek" and you "warsh" up for dinner using a "warsh rag."

LOL,

Then you have to throw in that I am Yugoslavian/ Polish/ German second generation in the U.S. and my wife is German/ Dutch. So my accent is real hard at times and even after being marred for 5 years there are time my wife will look at me and say "what kind of English are you speaking".

I took French in high school and she was tough on pronunciation.

Mille sounds like Meal or Meel. In French, the letter i is pronounced like we pronounce a long e, and the e on the end of Mille is silent.

JenEric was right about Fleur - like Flurry without the -ry. If you've ever listened to the Harry Potter books on CD, they introduce Fleur Delacor in the 4th book and it's pronounced well.
