I've really had a hard time getting these types of peepers on my chickens. Does anybody know how to put these on?[IMG]

This is what they look like. Does Anybody have any experience with these? I really need to get them on soon because one of the hens is having her feathers picked out by the others. Pinless peepers are not available to me

Those pins go inside the nostrils of the chicken. Have someone help you with this.

Towel up the bird and lay them on your lap. Take out that pin. Lay the peepers on the chickens beak and line up the holes of the peepers with the chickens nostrils. Center them on the nostrils. Hold the chickens head, while the other person lines up the holes of the peepers and the pin. Insert the pin in each side of the nostrils. Take a look at the beak and make sure it is securely on and centered on the beak. The chicken will shake her head around a lot at first and it takes about a day to learn how to see properly. After a few days, the chicken will not even know they are there. :)

    Just like this...

I use pinless peepers on a hen that has a horrible attitude. I love these things! (I am sure she does not! LOL) But it keeps the peace in the flock, everybody keeps their feathers and combs and we are all happy.

    Good luck!
