How do you regulate humidity?

(I read where someone had suggested those thick Viva paper towels, which I didn’t have, but I had the quilt batting, so whatever works! Glad it helped you)
I would think the quilt batting would hold the water better, not evaporate as quickly as paper towels. That would definitely help keep the humidity steady. Another good idea. Better than a sponge. Only down side would be mildew but you could control that with 2 or 3 drops of bleach added to the water. It wouldn't harm the eggs in that concentration.

Here's a few. I was working and monitoring at tge same time. Should be able to do better later.
 
Did you break up the crumble feed? If not out some in a zip lock back and hammer it.
X2, you can put the pulverized crumbles in a coffee can lid, works great until they figure out a regular chick feeder.

It's on my list for after work along with adjusting the heat plate and moving the rest of the chicks to the brooder.
