How do you sex a gosling???

Hi! I’m new to owning birds and I hatched a gosling yesterday and I would really like to know whether it’s a boy or a girl! So if you could please explain to me how to determine the sex, I would be very grateful! Thank you and have a blessed day!

Vent sexing and you tube has videos. I think for us amateurs it’s best not to since they can be injured but of course always up to the individual

What breed? There are a few that are auto-sexing.

I rescued this gosling as an egg that accidentally got delivered to my house in a pile of mulch... so I don’t know what breed it is. But when I do some research, it looks like it could possibly be a pilgrim goose.

I’ll have to check with the place we got the mulch from and see if they have any domesticated geese around there.
