How do you tell how cold your chicks are?

It is morning now and the chicks are all okay. Thank you all for your help. I did leave the chicks in the coop. The extra heat did help. If I wasn't so new at this, it would be easier, right?

i've done alot of read here and i've learn two people will hardly ever have the same problem+solution=outcome. it's different for everybody. you'll find lots of advise you can use and some that won't work for you. everybody here is glad to help, we're all still learning!
