How do you tell if a silkie is a girl or boy?

Hi I have a nine week old silkie and I have some questions bout how to tell I’m really hoping its a girl I would love for her to go broody I heard that the fuzz on the top of the head is a way to tell but when can you tell what age please help I can not have two roosters and this is my only silkie and I really want her to be a her thanks for your help some better photos are on the way

Silkies r really hard to tell the sex on until they r almost full grown but imo I would say this one is male.

Definately a cockrel.

If it was a pullet, the crest would be round and full. That crest definately has has streamers. Sorry :-(

Sorry about that I could not get a pic at that time but I got one sorry it’s not that good of a pic of the comb but I will get more when I have some help sorry about the wait thanks for all the help everyone give me

I'm still unsure but would lean cockerel. Silkies can take quite a while for accurate sexing so my advice is to wait a couple more weeks at least and try again.
