How do you tell the difference between a black sex link and a black copper maran?

How do you tell the difference between a black sex link and a black copper maran? I know that a black copper maran will sometimes have feathered feet but when they don't have feathered feet...?

Black copper marans have a ring of red all the way around the neck and dark legs. BSL have red mostly on the throat with maybe only a little on the neck and breast, and have lighter, more yellow legs.

Black sex links frequently have far more rust coloring throughout their body feathers. Egg color should also be far darker in the Marans.

Marans have pink feet while BSLs have yellow feet. Marans also usually have neater, darker red feathers that are only on their necks.
