They have a safe duck house and get locked up every night (ok, I've forgotten 2 nights and I'm sure I'll forget a few more) and told good night.
They have a small yard that the dogs don't have access to if they want to be dog free (and where their food is so the dogs don't eat it).
I provide them food and snacks.
I built them a fabulous pond.
They thought I bought THEM plants to eat instead of plants to keep in the filter to help with their pond mess - and ate all the plants.
I'm planting around their pond slowly, testing plants for non snacking qualities before planting.
They've gone to the vet when needed.
I tell DH's coworkers to "keep their forks off them" when they are at the house.
They have lots or room to explore and find their own food.
They (and the dogs) are getting the only watermelons from the garden so far because the dog keeps stealing them off the vine.
