How does everyone manage to wait 21 days???

I actually manage just fine until lockdown. Right now I have lots of little fuzzy butts in the brooder of the chicken house right now so I just go out and visit with them. It does seem like forever when my eggs are in lockdown though.

It's sure not easy. Grab a good book and glue yourself to the chair. Don't touch the incubator!

Well, if you set eggs every week for 12 months the excitement starts to wear off a bit.

Warning: The feed bill goes WAY UP.

21 days is really not all that bad.

Hmm,

Need to get the bator going again.

Yay I'm not the only one! I was afraid someone was gonna tell me to get a life.
Nivtup your SO must really love you. I know mine would have me committed if I hatched that many(although I feel like I'm headed in that direction) what exactly do you do with all of those chicks if you don't mind me asking?

Talk about watching bators.....I had a chick hatch tonight and I didn't even know there was a pip. It is day 19 and I checked about 3 hours prior to hatch and there were no pips. Maybe I just wasn't watching it close enough. The chick is doing great though. Its all yellow and cute

It's an EE from my back yard

i have a ton of patience... my first hatch, i couldn't stop staring and monitoring the levels... on my second hatch, and i have the "set it and forget it" attitude right now... every day i put the same amount of water in the tray with a long tipped syringe and that's it... sometimes i forgot it's on... i have my phone set to remind me when i have to candle... LOL...
