My partridge cochin roo. Just wanted a general idea. I know he probably isn't show material but would love some input on his strengths if any and weaknesses. I know nothing about what they should look like, to my uneducated eye they are just beautiful. Help me get a bit more educated. We love this breed and who knows we may decide to try for some breeding quality chickens down the line... I guess these aren't the greatest shots... but they're all I have right now.

THanks, thats what I think. He is also a sweetheart and is very good to his little lady (though overly affectionate

) My kids love to pet him.

I am no expert either but he looks real good to me - and I love his name I have a mallard/crested duck named Frodo ( he has a little pompom on his head )

I am no cochin bantam expert either. I just got some back in the end of August, and LOVE THEM!!!! I got a pure black roo, and a mottled female. Both are very very friendly. As a matter of fact, the roo has been crowing since he was about 9 weeks old. It is very cute!!!!

He is actually pretty nice!
I'd like to see him a bit more compact, 'cause his back is a bit longer than ideal but just barely, and that his tail would be more raised, but it does have a nice roundness which you want! Very handsome guy, he looks so sweet! I love him! <3

His is a nice looking little man. I love his coloring.

Blunt remarks: Needs to be more rounder and alot fuller around the rear and cushion. Needs a Shorter back. Needs Shorter neck. Would like to see a shot of his foot feathering, but from above they look a little skimpy on feathering. Nice comb, but could be shorter front to back.
