How does it feel

Has anyone ever been pecked by their broody? If so how bad does it hurt? I need to know for future removal

I have had a broody draw blood, It pinches bad but sometimes if they twist while they peck it breaks the skin open. No worse than a kitten chomping on the back of your ankles

There are always gloves...
I've never felt the peck because I have been smart and worn gloves

so i dont have to worry about her jumping out of her nest and really attacking me like a wood pecker or something? She will only peck and maybe twist the skin if i wear gloves

She is normally so nice to me and my family, her broody side is evil

I don't know if it was just mine, but my broodies never attacked my hands. They would puff a little and growl, but I was always allowed to pet them and their chicks.

The only thing they don't like for some reason is any kind of large stick or pole.....
