When to separate momma from the chicks. The chicks are 3 weeks old and I am getting worried about integrating Momma hen back with her coop mates... My only concern is that she and the babies get very upset when I take her out to do cleaning in the brooder... but on the other hand every time I open the top she jumps out and then seems to wander around the garage calling her babies... Is it time just to put her back outside with the others?
