We just got 12 one-two week old chicks and I was wondering when it is okay to start feeding the chicks table scraps? Thanks in advance for the advice!

Welcome to the forum!

I've never fed table scraps until the birds are feathered out at about 6 weeks, that doesn't mean you can't though. I'd stick to soft stuff boiled potato, sweet potato, lettuce etc. Remove any uneaten scraps after a couple of hours, don't give them anything too salty or citric.

Make sure you're giving them chick grit (not regular bird grit from the pet store, which has added calcium- too much calcium at this young age can be bad for their kidneys) if you're going to be feeding table scraps.
