how far in advance can i make these things?

    We are going to my moms tomorrow for our christmas dinner....

    I have to make :
    deviled eggs.... (big surprise
    cheese and pickle plate

    so how far in advance can I make these before they will dry out/ cheese become slimy ?

    You can make your deviled eggs the day before. Just don't fill them. Put the yolk mixture in one tupperware and the whites in another, refrigerate, transport, and then pipe the yellow in once you get there! Much easier.
    The cheese you can slice in advance and then store in tupperware, as well and the pickles go ahead and slice the day before and then put back in the pickle juice in jar so they don't dry out. [​IMG]
