How high for fencing?

I have a omlet eglu cube (you can look them up) and I am looking to get some fencing (also that omlet sells). It is 4.1ft or 1.25m tall and I have a leghorn. Do you think she would fly out? Would she be less likely to fly out if she had plenty of food, water, and friends? My other chickens are 1 brahma, 1 rhode island red, and 1 ameraucana (all hens) so I'm not as worried about them flying out. I know leghorns are flighty, and I have seen her fly lol. Omlet claims it is higher than most other chicken fencing, the product description says "you can be confident that even the most determined of your feathered friends will not make a great escape!" If I shouldn't get it, how high would it need to be for me to not be worried about her flying out?

A roof is important for chicken Hawks.... And other predatory birds.

I love my Omlet coop and walk in run, but chickens can surprise you! If you're worried about escaping birds, cover them with at least netting. Will also help deter hawks.

I have 4' tall livestock fencing. My birds do not fly over it. The do fly up to top of the gate, and from there jump out. Or onto the hen house. The reverse is also true.

Not sure if that helps - and I have dark brahma among my flock. Every morning, a couple impatient DB have hopped the gate. Also, a few of the Rainbows, sometimes a Comet, and most of the Silver Laced.

Only the Ducks and the CornishX don't.

Bird netting stretched over the top will keep them in.

4 for tall ought to do it for a garden to keep the neighbor birds out. Mine birds of the neighbors walk across the road.

I have 4ft fence. Only my roo will fly up to supervise - lol! The rest stay put. However, I know for a fact my Golden Comet and my Welsummer could fly over if either felt compelled. I echo others: netting would be good. Leghorns are pretty good fliers, in my experience.

I have leghorns, and they can easily clear 4 ft without clipped wings. I'd advise at least netting as well.

Agreed, Leghorns, even young ones, will fly over a 4' fence without any problem. A bigger issue is a covering over the top to keep out predators. Even in the city we constantly have to deal with raccoons, opossums, skunks, and worst of all -- cats. Feral cats and neighbors who let theirs roam free. We now have a completely enclosed chicken run. No more wing clipping and our flock is safe.
