I got busy and forgot to take picture's. Today there's no sun and it's supposed to maybe rain. The last 2 day's were warm, so I was out there cleaning up the coop, run, and yard a bit. I'm on 3 1/2 acres. I thought that I was going to have my flock of the mixed breed's sold, but the person backed out. All of the chick's and duckling's are doing good and are growing.

I ended up with 4 chick's in this batch, 2 of each sex. So, now in the Bielefelder's I have 7 pullet's and 2 cockerel's. I think that I might be needing some more girl's now? It look's like I'll be buying more hatching egg's maybe in the next month or so.

Well, as a future breeder of these, I can keep the 2 rooster's, but might have to split them up into 2 group's. In that case there wouldn't be enough hen's for those boy's. The 2 boy's have a slight variation in color, as one is a bit lighter then the other one is. I'm interested in how they feather out and grow, and how the boy's temperament is going to be.
