How large is your city flock?

Has anyone here kept a large covert flock in the city? How large? Ever run into any problems?

We built the coop covertly so you couldn't see it from the street. From the street all it looked like was a storage shed.

I live on an Army camp so they are covert chickens!

I am very lucky that my neighbours love them and buy eggs from me, I could treble my flock and still not have enough for all the people who want free range eggs. People bring their children over at weekends so they can collect their own eggs and pet the chickens, it has been a great learning experience for them.

In the town I used to live in that was 30 minutes away. You are allowed 3 hens. I had 7 and 2 ducks..

Really though, The police chief lives 4 houses down from me, and he loves to hear a rooster crow. I started out with 8 chickens and I now have 60+ and 13 ducks.

Neighbors love em. No one complains.
I keep the yard and coop clean(except this week. sitting up for more than 15 minutes at a time is still killing me)
Dog officer knows about them, but I think is letting it slide unless she gets a complaint

We keep an illegal rooster. Of course, the whole neighborhood knows about him. Cock-a-doodle-doo! It's not a sparrow!

I had 3 hens in a military housing backyard. Technically maybe not allowed, but none of the neighbors ever knew. Our coop didn't look like a coop.
