How long after a rooster leaves are the eggs infertile?

Thing is I have not had Roosters here since January but when I break eggs into the pan that were only laid last week some still have the wee dot in the top.
Is this normal????? It seems an awful longtime and these eggs are not mixed up as I date them and I only have this weeks eggs and last weeks here now.

If you have not have a rooster around since January, that dot is the blastoderm, not the bull's eye. Non-fertile eggs have the dot. Fertile eggs have the ring around the dot. Check the photo in the first post on this thread.

I think it takes about a month to clear sperm from the final insemination.
