I've got a few hens and that were on antibiotics as a precautionary treatment as they were new birds. Monday will be their last day on the antibiotics.
Anyway they are laying now but I don't want to collect the eggs for hatching since they have been on the antibiotics.
When will it be safe to start collecting and incubating their eggs?
Or does anyone know if you can incubate eggs that came from hens and Roos that were on antibiotic? Is there a chance of decreased fertility, defects etc? Just curious, I don't mind waiting, just thought I would ask if the antibiotics affect the embryo as long as I was posting the original question.
Thanks
