How long after hatch do you put in brooder

Overnight is the longest any of mine stay in. I get mine out right away, about an hour after hatching. I try to leave one in the incubator at all times though so times can vary. The first one generally stays in the longest of all of them. I like to get them out and drinking/pooping in the brooder, if you leave them in very long you'll have a poopy mess of an incubator to clean. I strongly dislike cleaning incubators so I remove the little poopers as soon as possible.
Thank you :) and little poopers I like your words ha

No problem!
Haha, yes! That's what they are. Cute poopers for sure :)
What breeds did you hatch? Forgive me if you already said, I didn't read the whole thread.
Light Sussex hybrid :)

they are so cute .. our first time we tried it failed .. but this time we had 8 in 6 hatched and 2 have cracked but . No progression yet but still time .. these have all hatched on day 20,

speaking just from my own situation with a small incubator with a fan in it .. simply, 'it gets them cold' and its easy to tell they chirp nonstop and flop around everywhere .. a content chick generally sleeps mostly .. so i take them out 'wet' straight away after they get free of the shell and put them in a nice cozy warm brooder with zero draft .. they will go right to sleep .. imo much better than leaving them in my small bator in the recirculating draft and playing soccer with the eggs still hatching .. only issue is a long hatch will have several up and running around after a day or so and theyll pick and annoy fresh hatchlings trying to rest .. so i seperate them with a small piece of something to create a makeshift divider .. doesnt have to be secure, just something temporary and removeable in awhile ..

I have transferred them all to the brooder & they all went under heat plate & fast asleep .. they were doing exactly what you said before I moved them so I knew it was time they all seen content now :)
