How long after pipping before hatching?

Bear with me... I have an egg that was pipped after I got home from church last night. It has not hatched yet. It is just a really small peck in the side. How long before I should be concerned. This is my first hatch.

Mine hatched 24 hours after the first external pip

It can take 24+ hours from pip to starting to zip and hatch.

I am still very new myself but can tell you the first egg we hatched out this am took roughly 7 hrs from pip to hatch. I don't know if this is fast or slow. I have two more in there now that are into hour 5 and 2 since external pip no more movement from either.

OMG how adorable, don't rush the process just let them do there job. It's the only way to be a big strong chick.. I know the waiting game STINKS...
