How long after pipping?

when I awoke this morning I had pipping on 2 eggs. Every so often I hear chirping from 1 of the 2 eggs, but no progress has been made. How long does it take?

It can take over 24 hours. My last hatch, I had one that took 28 hours from pip to zip. GOOD LUCK!

LOL, sounds like childbirth. I had no idea it took so long, I guess I have been watching to many time lapsed egg hatchings. Thanks

OH, it doesn't ALWAYS take that long; sorry if I misled you. Sometimes, they pip/zip/hatch in an hour or two! I just didn't want you to think if yours took longer, that there was something wrong!!
