I incubated 3 of my bantams eggs and they were my hens some of the first of my hens eggs but I figured I would try anyways, the egg has been pipped since 10pm last night and nothing has changed since then still the same pip and I hear chirping, she is trying to rock back and forth but I know its tight in there, when should I assist? how many hours?

Another thing that only clarified in my mind very recently: internal pipping is when they get into their air sac. When they do this they can start peeping. External pipping is when they break the egg from the inside. Zipping is when they work their way around in a line to pop off part of the egg so they can emerge.

right now my egg has externally pipped no zipping though

Just last weekend i had a broody hatch some eggs. On Friday night early Saturday morning the first one had externally pipped, i checked multiple times still just a external pip. I removed just a tiny bit of eggshell. And within 30 minutes it broke out. It hadn't zipped and was just trying to break out of the pip.
Ive hatched many times before and i only assisted two times, one chick didnt make it and one did, the one that did make it his beak was a bit deformed it grew back as it should and he is healthy.
