I have some 5 month old hens that have not started laying yet was wondering how long after they do start would there eggs be ready for the incubator?

I would wait so that her eggs can get bigger. Theirs been discussion on hatching pullet eggs. Some people are saying that the chick would be week and die. I'd wait 2-3 months after she starts laying to put her eggs in the incubator.

I am hatching 6 month old pullet eggs right now. Last time I hatched PULLET EGGS 47 out of 48 Marans hatched. I give them a Red Cell supplement and sunflower kernels. They are also supplemented with Red Palm Oil. I don't know if that made the difference or not.
